Option 1

Introduction to Ultrasound Guided Joint Injections $600

Registration limited to 30 participants. Student registrations available for all workshops.

Instructors: Dr. Drew Timmermans, Ryan Martin, Colin Rigney

Didactic: 8am – 9:30am

  • How to use an ultrasound for musculoskeletal applications
  • Ultrasound anatomy: normal vs abnormal
Hands on: 9:30am – 12pm
  • Becoming familiar with an ultrasound device, controls, settings, probes, gel, etc.
  • Using an ultrasound in small groups and scanning all major joints & soft tissue and identifying landmarks

Option 2

PRP For Sexual Dysfunction & Aesthetics
$600

Registration limited to 30 participants. Student registrations available for all workshops.

8am – 8:30am: Introduction to PRP & why it’s used
8:30am – 8:45am: Discussion of centrifuge & processing
8:45am – 9:00am: Microneedling device discussion
9:00am – 9:45am: Live patient: PRP facial & facelift
9:45am – 10:30am: Live patient: PRP for hair loss
10:30am – 11:15am: Live patient: PRP for female sexual dysfunction
11:15am – 12:00pm: Live patient: PRP for male sexual dysfunction

Advanced Ultrasound Guided Joint Injections $600

*note: only those who have taken the introductory course through IRG or have proof of completion of another course are eligible for this one*
Didactic: 1pm – 2pm
  • Review of ultrasound skills and functionality
Hands on: 2pm – 5pm
  • Live and simulated musculoskeletal injection training in small groups with ultrasound device 

Option 2

Adipose Graft Harvesting
Free

Student registrations available for all workshops.

1pm – 3pm

Instructor: Dr. Sabrina Solt
This workshop will demonstrate the use of the IntelliFat Stromal Vascular Tissue harvesting system on a live patient. You will learn:

  • Why adipose is a rich source of regenerative cells
  • The difference between stromal vascular tissue and stromal vascular fraction
  • When to use this system on a patient
  • Patient pre and post care instructions

This workshop will also consist of live instruction using the kit.

Functional Genomics and Sex Hormones
Free

Student registrations available for all workshops.

3pm – 5pm

This workshop is designed to provide practitioners with an introduction to Sex Hormones from a Functional Genomics perspective. Practitioners will learn how key genes and gene pathways influence the production, metabolism, and clearance of sex hormones, as well as the associated health concerns tied to different sex hormone profiles. They will also review case studies using functional genomics to better evaluate patients for hormone replacement therapies
